The Mothers Together Inclusion & Mission Statement
The Mothers Together mission is to connect mothers of neurodivergent children from around the world in a safe, judgment-free community to help moms feel confident in their motherhood journeys. In order to do that, we don’t just accept difference – we celebrate it, we support it, and we *thrive* on it for the benefit of our community. Therefore, we are committed to cheering on and encouraging moms with different perspectives from backgrounds that vary by race, ethnicity, social background, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, and national origin.
Here at Mothers Together, we have witnessed nothing but kindness, empathy, and respect from our members and participants over the last two years and are thrilled to share that reputation with you. To that point, we have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment. We do not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying and are committed to maintaining a safe space for everyone.
The Mothers Together Privacy Pact
This is a private community that is solely and exclusively focused on supporting mothers of neurodivergent children. As such, it is the responsibility of all members of the Mothers Together community to preserve and protect one another’s confidential and private information.
As a participant in the Mothers Together program, you hereby agree to:
1) Respect and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of any and all information regarding other members of the community (including, but not limited to information relating to any children, family or friends of members) obtained through your participation in the program.
This includes, without limitation, information shared or received during any discussions or conversations that you participate in through the Marco Polo app and in any texts, phone calls, Zoom calls or any other means of communications used by members of the community to communicate with each other (whether individually or in a group).
2) Not post or share information, photos, or videos (including through the Marco Polo app and/or Zoom) about anyone in the community (including children, family and friends of participants) in any form whatsoever (including but not limited to email, websites, message boards, social networking sites, texts, and polos).
Obligations to safeguard participant confidentiality continues even if you've left the community.
Any violation of this Privacy Pact will result in an immediate termination within the program and would prohibit you from joining the Mothers Together community in the future.
While it is expected that every member will abide by this Privacy Pact, I, Megan Champion, am not responsible, and cannot be held responsible, for the actions or omission to act by any participant with respect to the privacy and confidentiality of any participant's information.
